I’m watching an episode of the Conners. Dan goes to see a priest and he’s having trouble moving on to a new relationship after his wife’s death. The priest tells him to write a letter to his wife (who is dead) and tell her all about his feelings and afterwards, burn the letter to let his guilt and negative feelings go.
I asked my daughter what’s the difference between what the priest said for him to do and a witchcraft spell? She looked me dead in the eye and said “Nothing”.
Exactly. She gets it. She’s 13 by the way.
I’ve done that same exact spell and I’ve even recommended it to clients. So what’s the difference between the priest saying and myself saying?
People vilify what they don’t understand but it’s the same thing because Intention is Intention.
A witch who casts a spell is no different from a Pastor who prays over a collection plate.
Intention is what gives ritual its power.
